advantages: new technologies and innovations are always interesting and cognitive for students. our world is always developing and changing we must be in step with the time, that is why we need use learning technologies. students can take part in learning discussions with other people just stay at their homes.
disadvantages: lack of equipment in many schools, not all teachers can use these technologies and some of them do not want even learn how to use them. they do not fit all the subjects of school curriculum. lack of real communication with other people.

Advantages and Disadvantages of Learning Technologies!

Advantages: first of all, I think that our modern generation is used to using different technologies in the life. It is easier and more convenient for them. Also teachers and students can exchange their experience during learning process. Some equipment can make teaching more vivid and understandable for students.
Disadvantages: unfortunately, our schools can not make boast of modern equipment (lack of computers, DVD players, projectors, etc.). Low speed of Internet can prevent from using modern technologies. And most our teachers  can not use this technologies, and even do not want to learn using them.

Wiki Activity!

This wiki activity was created by myself and is related to my previous post about Simple English Wikipedia.
This task can be offered to the senior students of the school. It is not very difficult. Student should make their own article on the given topic and add it to Wikipedia. It is desirable to divide students into several groups, it will be easier and more productive for them to do this task.

First of all, they should receive their topics (before it teacher should check whether there is an article under such title or not. It there is such, students can just add some information to it). For example, they can give information about types of intelligence (there are 9 of them: verbal/linguistic, logical/matematical, naturalist, visual/spatial, musical/rhythmical, bodily/kinesthetic, intrapersonal, interpersonal and existential). Articles should contain some optional sections such as definition, common characteristics, famous people of this type,   best ways of learning, some ideas for activating these poeple, top career choices and some examples of activities that can be used in teaching such people. Other sections they can add themselves.

Then each group should log in on thi web-site to be able to add new article. This process is quick and easy, and do not need any personal information. They can do it here.

There is a lot of useful information for those, who are for the first time on this web-site. It is helpful for students to read such sections as How to Write Simple English Pages, Useful, SchoolsIf they need help, they may ask questions at Simple Talk or Help

To post an article students should click Talk and then Add Topic. Here they can add they article and then post it. Remind them not to forget to click Save Page button not to lose their information.

Help students if they have some problems with navigating on the web-site or collecting information. You can easily check their work by printing in the topic in the search space and reading the article.

Ответ на статью.

This article is rather thought-provoking. Teaching forges ahead, and new methods and technogies are creating. The author made a good woork, explainig new innovations in the process of teaching. Such tecnologies can make education more interesting, convenient and even easier, but I do not think that Russian society is ready to these changes. Perhaps, we will come to it step by step, but not now. http://www.computerra.ru/readitorial/393364/
